Dear Home Owner, A Custom-Made Kitchen…for less than a Flat Pack!

Looking at updating your old kitchen? Something new, shiny and functional, so you too can cook like a master chef? We know those “flat pack” kitchens that come in a box seem to be a cheap option, but beware: the box price is NOT the final price!
We recently helped a customer who had purchased a “flat pack” kitchen “at a good price”. Problem was, it didn’t really fit properly into the space where the old kitchen was, which resulted in a big hit to their hip pocket. Here’s how the budget ended up:
| Flat Pack Kitchen |
$ |
5,000 |
| Wall rendering (since the kitchen didn’t fit properly) |
$ |
2,000 |
| Extra plumbing |
$ |
1,000 |
| Trades to install kitchen and electrical |
$ |
2,800 |
| TOTAL OUTLAY FOR THE NEW “KITCHEN IN A BOX” |
$ |
10,800 |
When we measured up the kitchen space to custom build and install the same type of kitchen, our price was $7,300 which included, custom built kitchen installed, Plumbing and Electrical – saving good money, time and taking away the hassle.
If you’re considering a new kitchen, give us a call first. At Building Works Australia, we believe you should get the right kitchen at the right price, not a box of tricks. We look forward to helping you build the kitchen of your dreams, and get you cooking faster!
